‘PREMA GIMA JAANE DO’

One of the song lines of Crazy star V Ravichandran and Juhi Chawla ‘Bannada Gejje’ sung by Dr SPB and S Janaki is now the title of a Kannada film directed by Kenia Chetan Kumar starring Gowtham, Pallavi, Shruthi, Sheetal Shetty, Prashanth Siddi, Kishan others. It is a romantic comedy produced by Horizon Movies with music from Poornachandra Thehaswi of ‘Lucia’ fame.

Chetan before coming to direction worked for nine years in television channel and in this period he had written a novel theme for film. He hails from Udupi district. According to him four stages are in life. In that only one is showcased in this film. The shoot for 55 days was held in Bengaluru, Madikeri, Chikkamagaluru, Darjeeling, Sikkim locations. Sheetal Shetty, Ramesh Bhat, Anantha Velu are also in the cast.

27 persons have invested on this film. There are four songs.

Shruthi is in traditional role, Pallavi second heroine was absent because of her studies, The protagonist has experience in theatre and that gave a push for Gowtham to take lead role.

Rudramuni is cameraman, Vishwa is editor, Kaurava Venkatesh is stunts. Navarasan intends to release the film in September first week. He has selected forty theatres.
